Divey charm only time and grime can bestow
Now I’m looking at the place
Sign all lit up like it’s brand new
Who knows what they’ve done to the inside

Over a carcass invisible
Had no idea it was us

There’s something on the table
It’s colorful and plastic
Promised I’d remember it
Now it’s out of focus
Translusced by the event
That was an important conversation
All I can think about is that thing
What was that thing on the table?

I’d call it “Near Portland”
More unique than South Portland

New wood finishing that looks old
New customers
Used to go somewhere else
Last year we all went somewhere else
Now it’s fun to go here
There’s free Wi-Fi and a good tap list
And cool stickers
Doesn’t take much to feel like fresh air
