Regressing

Sitting in the bathtub
Been a long time
Not sure what to do
No rubber duckies
Do I just sit here
Showers are faster
And warmer I think
Humming is echoey
I remember that now
Hesitant drip escapes the faucet
Plunks and echoes too
If I pull the plug
Will I get sucked down the drain
It’s not a silly thought
Happened to a friend of mine
